We return with a Spanish Garlic Shrimp dish to our weekly recipe, inspired by our recent time away. What better way to bring the holiday back with you (or start it before you go) than enjoying the food you're going to be eating? This simple, easy and delicious Spanish garlic shrimp dish will do just that.

Serving: 4 people
Ingredients:
600g Whole Shrimp peeled & de-veined
3tbsp Minced Garlic
3tbsp Olive Oil
2tbsp Sherry Cooking Wine
1.5tsp Smoked Paprika
1.5tsp Red Chilli Flakes
1 Lemon juiced
Salt Chopped Parsley for garnish
Toasted Bread for serving
Step 1
Preheat a medium high heat fire for direct cooking. Add a cast iron skillet to the fire for about 1 minute.
Step 2
Add your olive oil to melt in the skillet
Step 3
Add the minced garlic and red chilli flakes and let them brown for around 90 seconds
Step 4
Once browned, add all the shrimp to the skillet (make sure not to overcrowd the pan), season with paprika, salt & pepper, then cook for about 90 seconds
Step 5
Flip the shrimp over and then deglaze the skillet with sherry and lemon juice
Step 6
Stir and continue to cook the shrimp for another 1-2 minutes until fully done
Step 7
Pull the skilled off the fire to cool
Step 8
Garnish the skillet with chopped parsley and crusted bread. Serve, enjoy and save this recipe!
