The Red Wing Shop Moc Oxford Shoes in Hawthorne Abilene Leather can be traced to style no. 895 when the oxford version first appeared in the Red Wing Shoe catalog in 1954; just two years after the release of the iconic 8-in Classic Moc. Today, the Shop Moc Oxford draws inspiration from this style and it’s iconic best-selling siblings at taller heights. It features the same Goodyear leather welt construction, Puritan triple stitching, leather insole and Traction Tred outsole. The easy, ankle-height oxford offers ease of lacing and styling for warmer seasons or pair with pants for the same look as our 6-inch moc with a lighter weight.
